The Tunbridge Wells and Eridge Railway Preservation Society's aim is to recreate the Railway from Tunbridge Wells West to Eridge, using loco's/multiple units/rolling stock typically used on the line.

We are home to the only remaining original Oxted DEMU 1317, often referred to as "Thumper" units, due to their distinctive engine sound. This unit operated services on the final day of British Rail operation.

The unit requires constant maintenance, your donation will help keep this unique and typical multiple unit in operation.
